Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info: email and an optional display name you provide at signup.
• Billing info: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we only store the Stripe customer ID and your plan tier.
• Cloud project files: DAW project files you choose to back up to the cloud, plus metadata (name, size, last modified date, tags).
• Waitlist signups: name, email, the DAW you use, and your operating system. Stored in a Google Sheet for pre-launch outreach only.
• Operational logs: standard server logs (timestamp, request path, error). No content from your files.

What we do with it

We use your data to provide Cassette Lab and to email you about the service (account events, important updates). We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

Third parties we use

• Supabase — database, auth, and cloud file storage.
• Stripe — subscription billing.
• Cloudflare — site hosting and the Turnstile captcha that protects forms from bots.
• Google — Apps Script captures waitlist submissions in a Sheet we control.

Retention

Cloud files stay until you delete them or cancel your subscription (we wipe cloud files at the end of the billing period after cancellation; local files on your computer are untouched). Account records remain until you delete your account from Settings.

Your rights

You can export, modify, or delete your data at any time from the app Settings, or by emailing us. If you're in the EU/UK we honor GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection).

Security

Connections to and from Cassette Lab use TLS. Cloud files are stored in Supabase Storage with per-user access policies. Passwords are hashed and verified by Supabase Auth; we never see them in plaintext.
